Welcome to the Branch 109 Website What's New
BC/Yukon Command entered into a partnership with Fenety Marketing to produce a series of Military Services Recognition Books. The series is designed to capture the history and heritage of the Legion in British Columbia and the Yukon as well as profile military histories and experiences of Veterans. These books are wonderful tributes to our men and women in uniform and create a proud legacy of duty, service and sacrifice. The Military Services Recognition Books are available free of charge at all Legion Branches as an educational and community service. Over the last four years, 80,000 books have been distributed to schools, libraries, community and seniors centers. Everyone is invited to submit a tribute profile and you do not have to be a Legion member. Our interest is to honour all Veterans in British Columbia and the Yukon as their legacy of service, embodies the values we cherish and emulate as Canadians. Branch 109 was proud to have 3 submissions for the 2010 edition of the Military Services Recognition Book Contact Rob Waldie at Branch 109 for more information |
